Kelly Airhart is an artist and author who is changing the world one act of kindness at a time.

Kelly was born and raised in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She is the mother to four beautiful children who spark her imagination daily and keep her inspired. She studied theater at Northwestern State University before moving to Orlando, Florida to work at Walt Disney World for almost 5 years. In 2015, after tragedy struck and her youngest son, Elijah, passed away, she gave up her Disney career to pursue her art and travel with her family. She used her writing and painting as a way to heal from her grief and trauma.

Kelly’s most famous creation is “Roux-Dolph the Gumbo Pot.” She has sold thousands of her hand-printed Roux-Dolph towels all over the United States. Kelly loves a good pun, and a good pot of gumbo. She is thrilled to be able to introduce her upcoming children’s book “The Legend of Roux-Dolph” to the world in hopes of creating a new holiday tradition Louisiana can be proud of.
